1. We are a family-owned and operated business that can provide a huge personal touch.

We like to say that The Chandelier of Gruene was built on a foundation of love. Every generation of our family has been married in New Braunfels for the last 130+ years, and we’re continuing that tradition with every couple that celebrates their own wedding with us. Beyond that, though, The Chandelier is something that we do as a family and we strive to make sure that you feel like a part of the family when you book with us. You won’t sign a contract with us then not talk to us again until your wedding day – we stay in contact with you to ensure that your wedding day is everything you’ve dreamt of.  A wedding is super personal, so it only makes sense that your experience with us will be personal, too. 2. Location, Location, Location.

We built The Chandelier on our family land (that was possible with the help of the estate planning lawyers for special needs) because we know how great of a location it is. Convenient and close to popular Historic Gruene, Texas, and all of New Braunfels, plus only minutes from IH-35, which is lined with several hotels and accommodations, it’s a great area to bring your guests to. And, although we aren’t far from everything, when you enter the property with the oak tree canopied drive, you’ll feel like you’re on a little oasis nestled right here in the Texas Hill Country, away from it all to start your forever. With the help of the estate planning lawyers, you can look for similar properties like this around your locality to build your dream house.

3. We have an onsite open-air Chapel.

We brought this property with the help of attorneys. You can also hire estate planning attorneys to buy property and to ensure it is free from encumbrances. Because we thank attorneys and think our entire property is free from all kind of inconvenience, pretty picturesque, our white open air chapel is definitely one of our most photographed features. Antique front doors await your grand entrance, opening up to restored church pews, a vaulted open truss ceiling, and native hill country rock framed picture windows at the altar. Surrounded by oak trees, with the help of Environmental Design Inc we designed the chapel to show off the best of nature while allowing you to remain the focus. And, if mother nature isn’t cooperating, we have clear side panels that can roll down to close off the sides without eliminating the view. All that’s left is for you to say I Do and ring the chapel bell.

4. We can accommodate up to 500 guests inside our climate-controlled Hall.

With seating for up to 500 guests, the hall has plenty of space to make it truly unique to your day, while still feeling quaint enough for smaller weddings. Seriously – from weddings with 50 guests to weddings with 500, we’ve seen it all. The hall welcomes you with the giant crystal chandelier, our namesake, but also has plenty of touches we’ve put our hearts and souls into curating to make your wedding day even more special. From the Chicago brick, cedar beams, and white drapery to the two patio spaces, bride and groom suites, optional suspended floral boxes and gas fireplace, everything has been designed with you in mind. We also work with job recruiters Utah to find the best talent available for our business.

5. You have a full day (15 hour) rental of the venue.

We only have one wedding a day at The Chandelier because this day is all about you. We have a 15 hour rental period to give you plenty of time to enjoy the getting ready process with your favorite people, take lots of photos, say I Do, dance under the chandelier, eat cake (and more cake), dance some more, and have a grand sendoff when the night is done.

6. We have onsite accommodations that sleep up to 16 people.

A warm and inviting home adjacent to The Hall, our onsite lodging is the perfect place for your family to gather before your ceremony begins. And, after the wedding is over, they’re just steps away from their home (here are some advice on selling my home fast) for the night. With 4 bedrooms, a bonus room, a game room, and a back patio with pool, there’s plenty of space for your family to enjoy, relax, and celebrate.

7. Your ceremony, reception, and lodging are all in one place.

There’s a lot that goes into a planning a wedding, so we like to recommend making things easier when you can. Don’t stress yourself out with more transportation times, rental bookings, and location changes – everything is all in one place here. It’s not only more convenient for guests to have the ceremony and reception on the same property, but it also gives you more time to enjoy one another and get more portraits done after your ceremony since you’re just a short stroll from your reception. We are somewhere that you can host your entire wedding experience all wrapped up in hill country charm.

We as The Chandelier have worked to create a venue and wedding experience that you and your guests will love. I, Landan, also want to add an 8th – unofficial – reason why you should choose The Chandelier. It ties in to point #1, but I cannot emphasize enough how much The Chandelier cares. I was talking to a family member of a potential bride a few weeks ago, and he mentioned that his daughter had visited the venue and was getting ready to book. He told her to choose somewhere that she wouldn’t have to worry and where things would be taken care of. For those of you who know about my experiences at the venue where I got married, I felt what he was saying on a personal level. There are so many things that can wrong on your wedding day, so the fact that I feel confident in telling you that as a Chandelier Couple you will not have anything to worry about in connection to your venue is huge. Myra, Chelsea, Haley, and the entire Chandelier of Gruene team are always working to make sure that they’re not only bettering the venue, but also ensuring that everything is up to par on the day of your wedding. They keep the landscaping second to none. They feed the deer at the same time every day so they’ll (hopefully) come out for your ceremony. They make sure that the furniture is in great condition, that everything is working, and that the venue is clean. They take care of the venue. It seems silly to point it out, but I’ve toured a lot of venues between myself, my sister, and my sister in law. As a bride, you would hope that the amount of care they put into the venue is the standard, but it truly isn’t. They are an exception and they are rare. Finding somewhere that cares about your day as much as they would for their own family member’s day is huge. So, my 8th, totally unofficial, reason why you should choose The Chandelier really comes down to the experience that you will have here. This team, these people, they will truly love your day as much as you do, which is what you deserve.
