The Love Story
A not so secret, secret; While we technically met on a dating app, we generally tell people we met through our mutual passion of helping others. We were both drawn to each other as he was in nursing school and I was already working as a nurse. I’ve always had the suspicion I’ve met him before when I was in nursing school while doing clinical rotation on the unit he was working at the time (years before we started dating).
Why They Chose The Chandelier
We both fell in love with The Chandelier of Gruene the moment we stepped onto the grounds. The quaint open air chapel and large reception hall are tucked away in such a beautiful and serene location. We walked around the grounds and envisioned our guests at the outdoor bar area and fire pit. We were welcomed into the reception hall and shown around the bride and groom suites and felt that it was enough space for all of our loved ones to share precious moments leading up to our “I do’s”. We felt The Chandelier was the all in one package as we had the chapel, reception hall and the lodging all within walking distance. We knew our guests would be as comfortable and delighted as we were during our visit.
Our most memorable moment from our wedding was our first look. We initially were not going to do one until our photographer had enlightened us. We were so glad that we did not one, but two first looks! One with my traditional white wedding dress and one with my traditional Vietnamese wedding attire.
