What started as a crush in Orchestra class in Middle School continued through high school, and long distance, and ended with a Happily Ever After! Madi and Noah spent a lot of time planning how to make their day extra special. From an entry table that outlined their relationship and a handmade cross built by the bride and groom to the bride’s sister singing Holy Spirit while a groomsmen played the piano at the beginning of their ceremony, this day was filled with truly one of a kind moments.

The Love Story

We met in middle school orchestra class (yes, we were orch dorks!) and I had a crush on him the entire school year. We grew to be great friends throughout the school year, and he (finally) asked me to be his girlfriend the last month of school. We dated all throughout high school, and he gave me a promise ring on Prom night of my senior year. After about 4 years of distance through college, Noah proposed on October 10, 2020. We are so thankful for our beautiful, unique love story and will never take it for granted. Marrying my middle school sweetheart and best friend has been the greatest blessing in my life.

Why They Choose Chandelier

I actually found The Chandelier on instagram before we were engaged and fell in love with it… When we got engaged, it was the first venue tour we booked and we both fell in love with it during our tour. Everyone at The Chandelier was so warm, welcoming, and helpful in the entire wedding process. They communicated well with us and ensured our wedding day desires were possible!

Memorable Moments

Noah’s most memorable moment was the emotional exchange of our vows. Standing at the altar and feeling the sunlight come through the windows was a beautiful moment for both of us. My most memorable moment was the joy I felt when the chapel doors opened and I was overwhelmed by the presence of those who came to celebrate with us. Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Noah at the end of the path is a memory I will never forget.

Their Best Advice

My biggest piece of advice to future brides would be to be as proactive with planning as possible! I started PA school in August of 2021, so I basically planned for an August wedding to avoid as much wedding stress as possible once school began. Reach out to vendors ASAP, especially if you know you want them. Do the research- it’s worth it! DIY what you can to save costs in any area because it adds up! Stationery and signage can be overpriced- look for a template bundle on Etsy, fill in your information, and get it printed at a local print or office shop for a quarter of the price.

All Together Now

I loved daydreaming and making a vision board for our wedding. From flowers, to cake, to bridal party inspo! I also absolutely loved deciding on the little things: the wax seals we put on our envelopes, the personalized napkins, the cake topper, and the cross that Noah and I built/stained for the altar table. Noah was a HUGE help in the process, and I’m so thankful for that. I know he enjoyed the food, drinks and cake tastings the most!

A Special Memory

My sister sang Holy Spirit with a piano accompaniment by one of Noah’s groomsmen at the beginning of our ceremony and it was the most perfect way to open our ceremony. We also set up the reception hall foyer table with all of our gifts, photos, and memorabilia over the past 8.5 years of our relationship. It was really sweet to watch family and friends admire our sweet things throughout the evening! Find something special to incorporate into your ceremony since it’s the most important part of the day.

You hear about high school sweethearts all the time but rarely do you hear about middle school sweethearts. I guess it’s true when they say, “when you know, you know.” We love how Madi and Noah incorporated special little moments into their wedding day that will hold a lifetime of memories. Also, can we just take another moment for the cross they built together? I mean it is absolutely stunning!
